The origins of the design language for both the A7 and the S7 can be traced to the Audi Sportback Concept shown in Detroit at the North American International Auto Show in 2009. The A7 officially launched in model year 2010; it was essentially an A6 executive sedan with a fastback-style rear end. The performance-engineered S7 variant was brought to market in the spring of 2012 with a unique body treatment and amplified power.

Digging a little deeper, under the hood lives a 450-horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 mated to a seven-speed Tiptronic dual-clutch automatic transmission. For being a large executive car, its more dynamic and agile than people would probably think it is. Luckily, there is also traction at all four corners via quattro all-wheel drive. The CARFAX report shows documentation of an extensive 35,000-mile service that was carried out in 2021. The turbochargers were replaced by the manufacturer that same year and a synthetic oil change was performed in recent weeks.

No German luxo-ride would be complete without creature comforts, and the amenities list on this one is lengthy.
